According to the Control of Dog’s Order which passed in the year 1992, it is mandatory to wear a collar tag for any dog in a public place. There are two classes of service dogs. The first-class animal performs specific tasks like detecting medical emergencies, seizures, and summons help. These dogs are specifically trained for the service mission.
The
second class of the animal community is the dogs of emotional support. In most
cases, they have no specific training. The difference cannot be always
predicted. For this reason, it is recommended that the owner of the dog carry a
Service Dog Id Tags for their service animal and Emotional
Support Id Tag for the dogs of emotional
support is needed. This service ID card has the information as the owner’s
name, city, and state, and the microchip number. By carrying this ID card, the
owner can avoid certain situations that arise when the service dog is taken
into the public area.
Service Dog ID Tags
Keep
your pet safe and help them to find the home sooner when lost by giving them
cute dog tags. This identification tag will be more handsome to see
around the neck of your dog. If you and your dog get separated, this tag allows
the finder to easily contact you. They are intensively trained for opening
cupboards, retrieving dropped objects, staying quiet in public, etc.
Emotional support Tags
If
you have an emotionally disabled animal, then you can legally qualify for using
a tag with the ESA mark. An emotional support animal tag is given with tag
reads like “Emotional Support Animal Tag” in a bold letter with two paw prints
in the lower corner. If they are just for comfort, then they are considered as
an emotional support animal. These are not protected under ADA.
Although there is a difference that is shared between a service dog and emotional dog, like service dogs, emotional support dogs may accompany their owners on commercial airlines. To avoid confusion, Emotional Support Service Dog Tags are important to put around the neck of the dogs to show the class.
